- What is ForMyGluco?
- A daily tracking app for people living with diabetes. It keeps glucose, insulin, medication, blood pressure, weight and water in one place, reminds you of doctor appointments, works out figures like estimated HbA1c and time in range, and gathers everything into a single PDF report you can take to your visit. It is not a medical device: it does not diagnose or prescribe.
- Does ForMyGluco measure my blood sugar itself?
- No. You measure with your own fingerstick meter or sensor, then type the reading in yourself — ForMyGluco has no Bluetooth or CGM connection to any device. From the values you enter it works out time in range, variability and averages by context. Reminders help you keep logging, and the doctor PDF report gathers it for your visit. These figures are estimates, not laboratory results.
- Is ForMyGluco free?
- The app is free to download, and you can log glucose, insulin, medication, blood pressure, weight and water. The doctor PDF report, Excel export, advanced insights and unlimited doctor appointments are part of Premium, offered monthly or yearly.
- Where is my data stored?
- Your records are kept on your phone first and backed up encrypted to servers in the European Union with your account. Your data is never sold or used for advertising, and you can permanently delete your account and every record from inside the app.
- Does it work without an internet connection?
- Yes. Every entry can be made offline; the app syncs by itself once you are back online.
- How is estimated HbA1c calculated?
- It is derived from your 90-day average using the internationally accepted ADAG formula, and it is labelled “estimated” everywhere it appears. It does not replace a laboratory test, and your personal target is set by your doctor.
- Is ForMyGluco a medical device?
- No. ForMyGluco is a logging and tracking app; it does not diagnose, and it never recommends treatment or insulin doses. Always make decisions about your treatment together with your doctor.
